Throughout Gippsland Offshore's Australian operations, all activities are carried out in a safe and professional manner in accordance with the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Act, associated Regulations and Directions, as well as the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999. During the period, Gippsland have not knowingly contravened these Acts and there were no reported health, safety or environmental incidents.

Gippsland Offshore's activities in Jamaica are carried out within industry standards of safety and environmental consideration. Gippsland Offshore is a 50% member of the Jamaica Joint Venture which is currently laying plans to sponsor a masters student to collect baseline marine flaura and fauna information in the Walton Basin.
